Toe // Topshelf
We’re thrilled today to announce something that is literally years in the making: We’ll be releasing Toe’s catalog on vinyl, worldwide, for the very first time ever!
Last fall, we released the band’s newest effort, The Future Is Now, on vinyl & CD — and we’ll be adding to that by releasing the following on vinyl as well:
- Songs, Ideas We Forgot
- The Book About My Idle Plot on a Vague Anxiety

- For Long Tomorrow
Toe is a band that’s an absolute mainstay in our music collection, a staple of this niche (and well beyond), and one of the most important bands (to us, anyway) of the last decade so we’re pretty pumped about this, you guys!

UGH. Such a damn good band. Definitely one of the best math bands ever. I found out about these guys by meeting someone who worked for Topshelf Records, the guys that Rooftops are signed to of course, and he told me all about them and gave me one of their stickers. Good stuff, I am so glad I met that dude. Anyway, this band is phenomenal, awesome math riffs and drums and occasional vocals; nothing could be better. Please, please, please check these guys out!

I can’t tell you how friggin’ stoked I am for everyone to hear these two records in full. If you’re familiar with either of their respective output to date, then you know what to expect — but both bands have taken past efforts and elevated them to a new level. Both records immediately showcase each bands’ impeccable ability to write a complete, well-formed record from end to end.
If you’ve followed the label for any period of time, you surely have a decent grasp on what it is we’re into and doing over here.
